Welcome to 4GolfPro's Learning Center. This is how we use a Learning Center to support you, the teaching pro, as you teach and market your business. You can have your own Learning Center, as well. We think if we use it to help you, you can see how you could use your own Learning Center to support your teaching and business. We encourage you to subscribe and create your own Learning Center. But mainly, this Learning Center is focused on helping teaching pros succeed.
This Learning Center focuses on three main areas: Helping Students Learn; Marketing and Growing Your Businesss; and Using a Learning Center Effectively. We also have loaded some content into this Learning Center so you can see examples of how we see it being used by pros and their audience.
Helping Students Learn focuses on the process of teaching. It deals with being an effective teacher and working with students more than on the mechanics of the swing - on the "how" more than on the "what". You know golf; we know teaching.
Marketing and Growing Your Businesss focuses on strategies to grow the number of golfers who want to learn from you, to optimize the length of time they work with you, and to create a culture of raving fans for what you are doing. We're mainly going to focus on growing your local business, because unless you're a prominant teacher with a regional, national or international following, you're not going to generate on-line-only lessons of any real significance.
Finally, Using a Learning Center Effectively focuses on how to take full advantage of Learning Center technology to market and teach. All the functionality is used to show you how we designed it to support your efforts to teach and market.
The Blog Section in Community houses a series of interviews with teaching pros as we try to identify ways to support pros' financial and professional success.
The other thing worth doing is to look around in Swing Media, Learning Center, Community and My Game. These provide the core capacity of a Learning Center. Teaching pros can "rent" their own Learning Center and build a useful tool that supports your effort to market and teach.
